If you aren’t going to be home and you ordered milk, meat, or eggs in the summer a cooler is REQUIRED for delivery. In the winter we recommend a cooler to keep your produce from freezing.

Membership
There are NO sign-up or membership fees for our service. No contracts and no required number of orders. We are an online grocery store. You can come and go as you please.
Setting Up Your Standing Order
Your Standing Order are the items you would like to receive and how often you want to receive delivery (every week, every other week, or once a month). Most members choose to put items like a produce box and eggs on their standing orders because they know they will want to receive those items with every delivery.
Suspending An Order
You can schedule vacation from delivery up to 16 weeks in advance once you log in to your account. You must suspend your order for the coming week by your deadline day. For temporary or permanent deactivation of your account, please see Canceling Your Membership below.
Email Communication
Email is a fast, convenient, and eco-friendly way to communicate with our members.
The following emails will be sent to keep you informed:
* Reminder Email- sent the week before delivery to tell you whether or not you are scheduled for delivery the next week and to remind you in case you need to add items to your order.
* Invoice Email- sent the Monday before your delivery
* Confirmation of Order Changes- sent whenever you make any changes to your Standing or Current order.
* Newsletter- It includes new updates, recipes, local information, and more.
Home & Business Delivery
You can specify where to place your bin/box in your order email. We recommend that you have your bin/box delivered to a spot that is out of direct sunlight and under cover. All orders are delivered between 8am and 9 pm in a cardboard box. Produce may be packaged in eco-friendly produce bags, and perishable grocery items will be packed with an ice pack. The boxes and ice packs are reusable so make sure you leave them out for your next delivery. We will pick up your box and ice packs when we bring your next order. This system is environmentally friendly and keeps your produce happy!
$2 Business Discount – Fresh Connect offers a convenient alternative to grocery shopping for the busy professional. Let us know if you would like your order delivered to your workplace. If there are five or more orders for a business delivery in one week, those orders will receive a $2 discount.
Military Discount- we have waved the delivery fees for members of the military bases at Leavenworth and Whiteman. Thank you for serving our country!
Delivery Schedule
You will be scheduled for delivery based upon your address. We currently deliver Friday every week except for weeks affected by major holidays. Delivery times are from 8am until 9 pm.

Payment & Billing
We accept Visa, Discover, and Mastercard. You input your credit card information on your account page and we charge it the Monday before your delivery. No orders will be delivered if we have not received payment prior to delivery or if there is an unpaid balance on your account. Orders can be prepaid with cash or check if received by the Friday prior to delivery. Payments can be mailed to Fresh Connect, PO Box 1777, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063.
Canceling Your Membership
In order to temporarily or permanently inactivate your account, you must contact customer service. You can request reactivation by giving us a call or email. You can contact customer service at info@freshconnectkc.com or (816) 875-5678. You cannot cancel a current order if it is past the deadline. At that point we have already ordered your food and the farmers are in the fields picking it.
Customer Service Guarantee
We want you to be completely satisfied with our service. If there is any product that is missing or poor in quality, please contact us and we will replace it or credit your account. ORDERING
Register online and setup your standing order. Once we activate your account we will email you and you will be able to customize your next order. Payment is with credit card and will be charged the Monday before delivery. We suggest leaving a cooler on your front porch to keep your produce fresh from weather.
Step 1) Signing up for Fresh Connect KC
Register online. Specify which items (min $25 with tax) you would like on your standing order, and how often you would like it delivered.
Step 2) Your Membership Activation
Once your Registration is complete, you will be notified of your activation and delivery day. Please check with Customer Service if you have not received a confirmation email within 7 business days.
Step 3) Adjusting Your Current Order
You can modify your produce bin and add groceries to your order until the deadline, before your scheduled delivery. You will receive an email reminder the week before your delivery day to tell you whether or not you are scheduled for delivery that week.
Step 4) Your Invoice
Your invoice will be emailed to you the Monday before your scheduled delivery. It also serves as a reminder to leave your cooler out and any icepacks for pickup.
Step 5) Your Delivery
Your order will be delivered between 8 am and 9 pm on your scheduled day. You do not need to be home to receive your order. We strongly suggest that you leave out a cooler if you will not be home to help keep your food cold. Store your produce, meats, and groceries as soon as possible, and save any insulated bags, brown paper bags, and ice packs for pickup. We cannot reuse plastic produce bags due to health concerns; however, we encourage you to recycle these plastic bags. Don’t forget to put your box, bags, etc. out for pickup on your next scheduled delivery day.
